The optware sendmail .mk currently doesn't build the libmilter library. If interested, I have an update for the package to include a sendmail-devel target that will both the static and dynamic milter libs.
Alternatively, I can create a separate libmilter package, independent of the sendmail ipk.
Libmilter is needed to build milters. These mail filters can be used with both sendmail and postfix to perform spam and virus filtering for example.
