X11R6.2.1 for slug2

Hi,
I'm trying to recompile the whole slug2 suite (target cs08q1armel).

Is there any good reason to stick to X11R6.2.1 ?
That version (actually all X11R6.2.x) doesn't seem to be easily available (perhaps with good reason).
Can we bump to X11R6.3.x or whatever?
